May 25
The Finals. A warm Saturday, highs reaching 90 degrees. We got there and paid our entry fee, I borrowed a nitro tank from Steve, owner of Adrenaline. Luis got a Blade Swing trigger for his cocker a couple days earlier and his timming is off so he is not able to use his Black Magic today. He asks Steve if he can borrow his Angel and Steve says "yes". We talk to some friends and get set to go. We are the third game up against our buddies Mis-Guided Children. This was a great game. We exchanged Luis for Jeff, then after a battle Wes got taken out. The man on my left moved up on me, I new the other man was going to come up on my right, so I ran over and bunkered the guy on my left. The other guy had to run around my old bunker and we battled around the sausage before we were both eleminated, ending the game with no flag hang and a score of 35-15 in their favor.

The next game we got rolled by Colors 0-100. Third game of the day we cut Dark Carnival 95-5, allowing DC their only points of the day. Fourth game, we beat Ballbusters 95-5. We were really battling it out with these guys for a bit, I got careless and got taken out, then Wes made his move. He bunkered the man on the right side, then moved behind the man at the sausage and shot him out, then he forced the man at the angle at the top to move out and Luis finished him off. That was an exciting game. The last game of the day was against Fuzzy Bunnies, we got the jump on them and put out one of their guys then we got the flag pull, then they got Wes, Luis, and me. That game was the difference in us being in 4th and 2nd. |
April 21st
We didn't play to well today. We haven't practiced or played since the last tournament. The first game of the day we got handed our tails by Fuzzy Bunnies. Second game of the day was a contraversial finish against War Machine. It was two against Luis and one War player came around to bunker Luis and his shot didn't break. Luis shot him and took him out. During this time the War player stood in front of Luis and argued the officals call, his teammate moved up and shot Luis. We lost 10-90. Next game we lost to Colors 5-95. The fourth game we beat Dark Carnival 35-15, in our best game of the day. The last game of the day we lost to Mis-guided Children 0-100. We finished the day in last place with 50 points. |
